Laser Engraved Water Bottles and Tumblers
We've recently set off to enter the world of custom laser-engraved water bottles and tumblers, as many of you might've seen. The idea started with Christmas gifts for my daughter's two best friends, where she wanted to make them something no one else would be able to have. This idea became the spark of this entire journey.
Come the end of the school year, we came back to the idea, which had been sitting on the back burner for months. This time, the idea was used to create unique end-of-year teacher and bus driver gifts, and when those were done, we created a few custom tumblers for ourselves, mainly for day-to-day use.
As the summer progressed, we continued to work with the ideas and came up with a few of the ones you can see in the online store today. A few of which were sparked by gifts- take, for example, the mountain scene on the green tumbler. That was originally a gift for one of my close friend's daughters, and we turned it into something that could be enjoyed by many.

Within the past few weeks, we have expanded our horizons and started to work with water bottles. In the shop now, we have a decent selection of custom laser-engraved water bottles to go with our tumblers.
We have also started opening ourselves to working with localized businesses, stores, and organizations. Currently, we are offering to work with small businesses to create merchandise for stores and such. Merchandise is not just limited to water bottles and tumblers either; we can work with objects like keychains, metal tags, and more!
When we started working on water bottles, we started off by experimenting with bottles to kick off the school year. This is where the idea for the butterfly on a sunflower bottle that seems well-loved originated - as a custom water bottle that would be hard to lose in a high school.

To go along with my daughter's sunflower and butterfly, my son needed a new water bottle, too. So we took his favorite color, green, and combined it with one of his hobbies and talents. The engraved design on the green bottle above is his, displaying his love for playing the cello perfectly, while giving him a water bottle that can never be mistaken for anyone else's.
Once we were sure that we could do these, we started looking at what else we could do. A close friend asked if we could make a custom water bottle with a picture of his dog, whose name is Gracie. He provided an image, and we did the rest - the rest being converting the image to a file that would work with our laser and that would look good on the bottle. After a bit of fiddling and some trial and error, we came up with the final product, which you can see displayed below.
