Welcome to Kemner Design
My name is Dave Kemner and together with my wife Gail, we run Kemner Design - a family business right here in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We've been at it for 10 years now and we still love what we do.
I'm a maker at heart. I've got over 18 years of CNC machining experience and my own shop where everything we sell is designed and created. We started out making precision metal spinning tops (and we still do), but in 2019 we added a Dominator laser and that opened up a whole new world for us. Today we specialize in laser engraved tumblers, water bottles, and custom engraved gifts each one made to order, one at a time, right here in our shop. We also do custom engraving for businesses and industry, from branded merchandise to serialized parts and equipment labels.
Every design you see in our store is original artwork. We don't buy clip art or use generic templates. I format and prepare all the artwork so it's dialed in before it ever hits the laser. And because we laser engrave rather than use vinyl or printing, our designs are permanent they won't peel, fade, or wash off. Ever.
Gail and I both run the laser, and between the two of us we touch every order that goes out the door. Gail also keeps everything running on the business side: sales, shipping, and making sure every customer is taken care of.
